Hi! I’m the Book Hobbyist: a voracious reader of all the Christian fiction and love doing it! I often find myself itching to recommend or discuss a recent book with people; however, I find fellow voracious readers and bookworms hard to find. But I know you are out there! That is why I’m here as the Book Hobbyist.
I’m a busy mom and wife, nurse by trade, bookworm by hobby. Everywhere I go I have a book tucked in my purse or under my arm. Mostly because I obviously love to read, but also because I would rather read than talk to people. I have some mild social anxiety thanks to my introverted personality, but I’ve learned social norms and get by.
I love icecream and mexican food; however, I have a strong dislike for coffee. I have a mild obsession with my adorable weenie dog. I also love a good reading challenge on Goodreads.
Fun reading fact: ultimate perfection to me is a warm breezy day in my beach chair on the shores of Fripp Island with a good book to devour.
What I do here
In the following posts, I happily provide honest feedback on books that I have devoured and itch to share with you. I’ll try not to give out spoilers. While a decent review can seem lengthy, I do provide a one-line review or quick thoughts towards the end of each post for those of you speedy readers and busy people out there.
